V-Soft, Inc., a Silicon Valley based Mobile Application Development Services provider announced today that Yaacov Ben-Yaacov has joined the company’s Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Ben-Yaacov brings to V-Soft over thirty years of high-tech business management, global technology market strategy and entrepreneurial experience and expertise spanning the digital markets.
Yaacov is a veteran US-Israeli high-tech entrepreneur with a successful and proven track record in the digital content industry. As the founder of PictureVision, he was the first to bring to the mass market the convenience of sharing photographs over the Internet. PictureVision partnered with AOL to create “You’ve Got Pictures” and established joint ventures and partnerships with virtually every major party in the distribution and fulfilment chain before he sold the business to Kodak for over $150 million in 2000. He holds a BSC in Computer Engineering and Robotics from the Jerusalem College of Technology and served five years as a Captain in the Israelis Defence Forces.
Yaacov founded his latest venture, Catch Media in 2003, with yet broader vision of creating a complete ecosystem to share ANY form of media over multiple platforms in a legal way to create value for the consumer, the media creator, distribution partners and every participant in the value chain.
